This collection of three mid-century American metal lawn chairs exemplifies the iconic outdoor aesthetic of the 1950s. Each chair features a flexible, cantilevered tubular steel frame designed to provide a slight rhythmic bounce. The seat shells are constructed from stamped sheet steel, each showcasing a unique decorative motif: one with a triple-peak ‘tulip’ crest, one with a circular back featuring vertical ribs, and one with a streamlined triple-ridge fan pattern. All three chairs retain an aged pale yellow finish that exhibits a significant historical patina, including surface oxidation and characteristic wear from outdoor exposure. While the frames display localized structural rust typical of unrestored vintage garden furniture, the set retains its original Mid-Century Modern silhouette.
