Round Center Table with Corinthian Capital Base, Late 20th/Early 21st Century

Item Details

This large-scale center table is defined by its massive architectural pedestal, modeled after a Roman Corinthian column capital. The base is expertly cast in composition material, displaying dense rows of relief-carved acanthus leaves and prominent volute scrolls at the corners, finished in a dark umber tone to simulate aged wood or terracotta. The circular tabletop is constructed of solid pine planks with a visible grain, currently resting unattached upon the pedestal. This piece serves as a significant focal element for an entryway or formal dining area, embodying the ‘New Classical’ interior design movement.
