The square table features a functional draw-leaf design, where two hidden extension leaves pull out from the sides to significantly increase the surface area for dining. The underside reveals mechanical wood runners and metal corner brackets for the removable legs, along with factory inventory or batch numbers marked in grease pencil. The piece exhibits a warm, honey-colored grain characteristic of aged teak wood. While showing signs of use typical of its era, such as surface marking and finish wear, the table remains a sturdy and versatile example of Scandinavian-inspired functionalism.
