This writing desk is crafted from mahogany and features a single long drawer centered in the apron, accented by a decorative brass bail pull and a beaded lower trim. The desk is supported by four elegantly carved reeded legs which transition into an H-form stretcher with splayed terminal ends for added stability. A visual inspection of the drawer reveals machine-cut dovetail joinery and clean secondary wood surfaces, hallmarks of high-quality late 20th-century cabinetmaking
