Jose Trujillo was born in Guadalajara and moved with his family to the United States when he was nine years old. Trujillo is a self-taught artist and is inspired by the Impressionist movement, which he incorporates into his artistic style. His work often depicts natural scenes of flowers and landscapes and he paints and draws using the plein air method and impasto techniques. Trujillo’s works are housed in numerous private collections across the United States.
