This pair of side tables represents the Victorian Revival style, a popular mid-20th-century trend that emulated the ornate designs of the late 19th century. Each table features an oval white marble top with gray veining and a classically carved ogee edge. The marble rests upon a wooden frame and a central quadruped pedestal base. The legs are characterized by bold, scrolled cutouts and are joined at a central pillar featuring decorative turned finials at the top and bottom. The stained wood finish provides a traditional contrast to the cool marble.
