This authentic vintage Persian Lilihan rug features a densely patterned all-over floral design on a vibrant cherry-red field. Woven in the Arak region of Iran, the composition consists of detached floral sprays and stylized botanical motifs in shades of navy, sky blue, cream, and rose. The central field is framed by a classic navy blue border decorated with a continuous floral vine and guard stripes. Hand-knotted with a soft wool pile on a sturdy cotton foundation. The technical execution shows the characteristic single-weft weave of the Lilihan district, resulting in a flexible yet durable handle. Finely finished with original cream-colored fringes at each end.
