This contemporary runner replicates the aesthetic of high-end hand-knotted Ghom silk rugs. Manufactured via power-loom, the piece features a vibrant midnight blue field centered by a complex ‘Gonbad’ sunburst medallion. The rug is finished with machine-serged edges and long, bright white synthetic fringes. While capturing the detailed artistry of traditional Persian designs, its construction and materials are characteristic of high-volume decorative exports from the late 20th century.
