4'4 x 6'4 Hand-Knotted Turkish Anatolian Floral Lattice Area Rug
Item Details
This hand-knotted Turkish Anatolian rug, produced in the late 20th century, features an allover lattice pattern inspired by traditional Oushak weaving. The ivory and ochre field is divided into a diamond grid by sage green leafy vines, with each intersection housing a stylized terracotta rosette or geometric floral motif. The composition is enclosed by a chocolate brown main border featuring repeating floral sprays. Constructed of 100% hand-spun wool, the rug has been sheared to a low profile and intentionally distressed to provide a semi-antique appearance. It measures approximately 4’5’ x 7’2’ and retains its original export label on the reverse, confirming its Turkish origin and wool construction.
