Hepplewhite Mahogany Sideboard, 19th Century

Item Details

This mahogany sideboard is designed in the Hepplewhite style, a definitive aesthetic of the American Federal period. The piece features a characteristic bow-front central section accented by delicate light wood string inlay. The case is supported by four square tapered legs and contains two central cupboard doors flanked by deep drawers. Construction details include hand-cut dovetail joints and brass ring-drop hardware.
