Stickley Mission Collection Quartersawn Oak Pedestal Dining Table, 2008
Item Details
A substantial quartersawn oak pedestal dining table by L. & J.G. Stickley. The table begins as a classic round silhouette and expands into a large oval form via three matching extension leaves. It is supported by a robust dual pedestal base characterized by graceful arched legs and visible pinned joinery, a hallmark of the Arts & Crafts movement. The wood features the characteristic ray flake grain pattern unique to high-quality quartersawn white oak. While the table exhibits surface wear and finish clouding on the top, it retains all original manufacturer identification marks, including the 2008 production date stamp and the Manlius, NY metal medallion.
