Victorian Aesthetic Movement Oak Corner Table, Late 19th Century

Item Details

This Victorian Aesthetic Movement corner table is constructed of solid quartersawn oak and features a distinct triangular form designed for corner placement. The apron is decorated with a complex spindle gallery and pierced geometric brackets, reflecting the Eastlake influence of the late 19th century. Supported by three out-swept legs terminating in original metal casters, the table includes a secondary lower shelf for additional stability and display. The woodwork exhibits scalloped edges and incised linear carvings throughout the frame. This antique oak accent table retains its historical character with a warm, aged patina and original hardware components.
