This Danish Modern table set includes a rectangular coffee table and a square side table, manufactured in 1985 through a collaboration between Haslev Møbelsnedkeri and Uldum. The coffee table is characterized by its inset top featuring three large-format ceramic tiles, each decorated with a textured, circular abstract motif in a palette of ochre, brown, and black. The accompanying side table contains a natural slate top, which retains its original ‘Instructions for Care’ label on the underside. Both pieces are constructed with solid wood frames—likely teak or cherry—utilizing the distinctive mitered-joint construction and cylindrical legs frequently associated with Severin Hansen Jr.‘s designs for Haslev. The underside of the coffee table retains the Uldum manufacturer’s label and a stamped production number, 10363.
