Grant Haist was a WWII veteran, chemist, and internationally recognized photographer who spent 32 years as a Senior Research Associate at Eastman Kodak. Known as ‘the man who modernized photo development,’ he held 28 U.S. patents and authored the definitive two-volume manual, Modern Photographic Processing. His own award-winning photography, exhibited globally through the Photographic Society of America, is celebrated for its technical mastery, sharp tonal contrast, and evocative captures of the American landscape and everyday life.
