Colonial Revival Style Maple Hutch, Mid-20th Century

Item Details

This Colonial Revival hutch is constructed from solid hard rock maple with a warm brown finish. The upper section features a projecting crown molding above two glass-front cabinet doors, each containing eight individual panes, opening to reveal fixed shelving against a vertical plank-style back. The lower buffet section includes two side-by-side drawers equipped with decorative brass-finish batwing pulls, situated above two recessed-panel cabinet doors that open to additional storage. The unit is supported by stylized bracket feet and retains its original manufacturer stenciling on the reverse identifying the material and model number. Designed for domestic dining utility, this piece represents the mid-century American preference for traditional New England-inspired aesthetics.
