George Nelson for Herman Miller "Contract" Base Dining Table, Mid-20th Century

Item Details

Designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller, this authentic Mid-Century Modern dining table features the iconic ‘Contract’ base. The piece is composed of a circular white laminate tabletop with a beveled plywood edge, mounted to a brown enameled steel and aluminum 4-star pedestal base. Designed for both residential and commercial use, this model is a staple of 1950s functionalist design. The underside retains a partial original paper label and bears handwritten markings typical of institutional or office inventory.
