Item Details
This Directoire Revival style bronzed metal gueridon features a circular glass top inset within a prominent, deep-profile rim wrapped in patinated brown leather. The leather border is accented by a continuous row of brass-head upholstery tacks along the outer circumference. The table is supported by a tripod base consisting of three vertical legs with ring-turned capitals and bases, terminating in cast cloven hoof feet. Structural stability is provided by intersecting X-form stretchers, each centered with a concentric ring medallion. The metal surfaces display a dark bronze patination with visible verdigris accumulation in the recessed areas of the casting and hardware.
