Miller Cabinet Co. Craftsman White Oak Tabouret, Early 20th Century
Item Details
This Miller Cabinet Co. tabouret is constructed from quarter-sawn white oak and features a circular top measuring approximately 18 inches in diameter. The design is distinguished by four through-tenons that penetrate the tabletop, securing the four square legs which terminate in slightly flared feet. A cross-stretcher assembly provides structural stability using a centered half-lap joint. This piece exemplifies the American Craftsman movement’s emphasis on visible joinery and honest material usage.
