This authentic David Marsh studio tall chest, created in 2003, exemplifies the artist’s signature ‘Texas Whimsical’ style. The piece is constructed from solid pine and features a dramatic S-curved silhouette, finished in a saturated red with horizontal scoring on the drawer faces. The sides and base are elaborately hand-painted with Marsh’s trademark concentric circles and polychrome speckling. The cabinet is accented with turquoise-painted scalloped trim and decorative metal studs, typical of his studio’s aesthetic.
