Item Details
This Renaissance Revival extension dining table features a rectangular walnut top with canted corners and molded edges, dating to the late 19th century. The apron is accented with recessed panels and diamond-shaped wood inlays at the corners. It is supported by an elaborate base consisting of eight turned and carved baluster-form legs joined by two sets of curved H-stretchers terminating in bun feet. The underside retains its original mechanical steel extension hardware, operated by a hand-crank system. The table exhibits a dark stained finish with visible authentic wear consistent with age and use.
