Arts & Crafts Oak Barrister's Bookcase, Early 20th Century
Item Details
This early 20th-century sectional barrister bookcase is constructed of quartersawn white oak with a medium golden finish. The modular design consists of four distinct parts: a molded top cap, a single glazed section with a lift-and-slide door, an open-front divided shelf section, and a double-height bottom section featuring two sliding glass bypass doors. The unit is joined by characteristic metal side straps and sits upon a matching base with four square tapered legs.
