Italian Neoclassical Style Hand-Painted Distressed Seven-Drawer Semainier
Item Details
This Italian hand-painted semainier features a traditional seven-drawer configuration designed for daily organization. The tall, narrow chest is finished in a pale seafoam green and cream polychrome palette, characterized by an intentional heavy crackle glaze and hand-painted blue linear accents. Each drawer face is framed with molded trim and accented by dual circular brass-toned knobs with floral motifs. The piece is signed in script ‘E. Fellini’ on the upper right side panel and retains a ‘Made in Italy’ stamp on the unfinished plywood reverse. Raised on a molded base with decorative bracket feet, this chest exemplifies the late 20th-century Italian trend for revivalist Provincial furniture.
