This contemporary three-drawer commode by Jackson Carter Furniture Co. features a striking blend of textures and materials. The chest is constructed with a mahogany-finished frame, highlighted by a sunburst-patterned veneer on the top surface. Each of the three drawers is faced with dark chocolate-colored woven leather, further accented by antiqued brass hobnail trim along the edges. The drawers are fitted with oversized cast brass lion-head ring pulls, lending a British Colonial or Regency aesthetic to the piece. It is supported by four square-tapered legs. The reverse retains original labels including the model number ‘612-85-005’ and a ‘Made in China’ origin stamp, reflecting Jackson Furniture’s global sourcing expansion in the early 21st century.
