This 20th-century chest of drawers is a fine example of the William & Mary Revival style, likely manufactured in 1999 according to notations on the reverse. The case is dressed in rich walnut veneers, featuring a two-over-three drawer arrangement. Each drawer front is distinguished by two elliptical burl walnut inlays bordered by dark cross-banding, creating a striking visual contrast. The drawers are fitted with decorative brass drop pulls in a floral motif and centered brass escutcheons. The chest is supported by traditional turned bun feet. While the structural integrity is excellent, featuring machine-dovetailed drawer boxes, the top surface exhibits a significant area of finish loss that requires professional restoration.
