The composition is framed by a multi-tiered border featuring repeating floral guards and a primary rust-toned band. Constructed with a silk pile on a silk foundation, the rug exhibits a high knot density and a luminous finish. The piece is finished with a white silk fringe and retains its original identification tag indicating it is a Qum design silk rug.
