"Beech Grove Near Milford" Etching by Cinti. Artist E.T. Hurley

A lot comprised of etching titled ‘Beech Grove Near Milford’, signed and dated by Cincinnati artist Edward Timothy Hurley. A dense grove of mature trees is depicted in black and white, the artist’s signature and date (1912) is both in the plate and penciled in the lower right corner. Old labeling at the back from the Closson’s Art Galleries indicates the etching is most likely in the original mat and thin wood frame.

Condition

, the etching and mat are both toned from age but the image is a good strike.
