Brooklyn-based painter, Dan Sabau, is best known for his experimental watercolors which display subtle and intermittent bursts of color, reflecting our human condition. Sabau received his formal art training at the Cleveland Institute of Art, and is heavily influenced by contemporary artists such as Marlene Dumas, Nicole Eisenman, and Jenny Saville. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States and at international art venues such as NADA, Scope, Switzerland Art Basel, Miami Art Basel, Art Markt, Art on Paper, and The Other Art Fair amongst renowned artists Shepard Fairey, Swoon, and Marilyn Minter.
