Provenance: Estate of Henry Faulker, purchased at a sale conducted by Thompson & Riley Associates of Lexington, Kentucky in 1983.

A Venetian neoclassical small cupboard featuring original hand-painted polychrome decoration on a cream ground. The single door and side panels are adorned with floral garlands, ribbons, and central medallions containing pastoral or landscape scenes. The piece features a faux-marbelized top, a single interior shelf, and is raised on a bracket base. Construction details include hand-planed backboards with visible shrinkage cracks and iron hardware typical of the period.
