The piece is supported by four distinctive cast aluminum ‘blade’ or ‘V-shape’ legs with a brushed finish and circular floor glides. The underside reveals a wooden frame with a sinuous (zigzag) spring suspension system. This sculptural leg design is characteristic of high-end American designers like Ward Bennett or manufacturers such as Knoll and Phyllis Morris.
