A storage trunk executed in the traditional Chinese marriage chest style, featuring a dark mahogany-toned finish. The chest is heavily accented with antiqued brass hardware, including a large circular central locking faceplate, protective corner brackets with decorative studding, and side-mounted bail handles. The interior is finished in a vibrant red lacquer and includes a removable upper storage tray. The lid is secured with modern flat-strap hinges and a cord stay.
