Item Details
A pair of ornate side chairs in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. The chairs feature high, elaborately carved crest rails with scrolling foliage and central finials, supported by four turned spindles and square-sectioned stiles topped with ball finials. The lower back features a secondary carved splat with circular ‘rosette’ motifs. The chairs are constructed of dark-stained oak or walnut with block-and-turned legs joined by H-stretchers. Seats are upholstered in a machine-woven tapestry fabric featuring a classic floral and foliate ‘verdure’ pattern.
