A vintage hand-knotted wool rug featuring a central lobed medallion on a dusty rose or salmon-colored field. The design is densely populated with polychrome floral sprays and ‘antique’ style motifs in shades of green, blue, gold, and pink. It is enclosed by a dark navy or charcoal border featuring a repeating floral vine and rose pattern. The rug is finished with a heavy cotton fringe, and the reverse shows a dense, machine-assisted or high-quality hand-knotted foundation consistent with mid-century Chinese export rugs.
