American Renaissance Revival Oak Library Table, Late 19th/Early 20th Century
Item Details
A Victorian-era library table constructed of quartersawn oak (Tiger Oak). The rectangular top with rounded corners sits above a single long drawer featuring a brass ‘batwing’ bail pull. The table is supported by four distinctive lyre-shaped trestle legs adorned with deep acanthus leaf carvings. A lower shelf (stretcher) connects the supports, stabilized by bobbin-turned cross-members at the base of the legs.
