A decorative side table featuring a fixed tray-top design with a scalloped ‘pie-crust’ rim. The table is heavily decorated with Chinoiserie motifs, featuring hand-painted gilt landscapes, architectural pagodas, and figures against a black and deep oxblood red lacquered ground. The base features an undulating apron and is supported by four slender cabriole legs.

Condition
- lacquered surface exhibits significant “crackle” and age-related fine crazing throughout the top and apron; localized areas of paint loss and surface abrasions, particularly along the raised scalloped edges; gilt decoration remains largely visible, but shows thinning and oxidation.
