A Chippendale style secretary by Alfonso Marina Ebanista. This beautiful piece has a molded swan neck broken pediment, with bracket finial, over the double door blind upper cabinet, which open to reveal eight compartments with scalloped decoration. Beneath the cabinet is a fall front desk area with writing surface and organizational compartments. The piece rests on cabriole legs with ball-and-claw feet, and dramatic carved and scrolled detail. This piece has brass hardware and escutcheons, with four keys included. It is dated as November 13, 1998 and marked with ‘493/98.’
