The piece features a rectangular reddish-brown mottled marble top over a long top drawer, with three small drawers to the left and a single cupboard door to the right. It is accented with carved pilasters, decorative molding, and original ornate cast brass ‘bale’ style hardware. The drawers utilize machine-cut ‘Knapp joint’ or early dovetail construction, and the unit sits on its original ceramic and metal casters.
