In the late 19th century master French engraver Amand Durand recreated etchings by Rembrandt van Rijn, including this self-portrait originally created in 1630. This print is a 20th century reproduction of Durand’s etching.
Condition
- chipping and abrasions to the frame; light toning to the paper; undulations to paper; stains and water damage to the lower edge of the lining.
Dimensions
- measures frame; plate measures 1.5" W x 1.75" H.
