Napoleonic Era Flintlock Pistol

Item Details

A late 18th century French empire Napoleonic era belt sized flintlock pistol with ramrod/cleaning tool. Gold embellished with the words ‘Canon Tordu’ marked on the top of the barrel. Caliber is not marked but the barrel opening is approximately 14mm. ‘LC’ stamped into the barrel. A nice period wall hanger that could probably be made to function again with some gun-smithing work.

Condition

- good condition overall for it’s age. Nice patina. The hammer does not pull back and this pistol would require some work to make it functional again. There are some chips in the wood stock.
