Description: An authentic 1920s Early California Impressionist oil on board by Paul Grimm (1891–1974), the celebrated ‘Dean of the Desert.’ Titled Windswept Dunes by the artist on the verso. The composition features a sweeping panoramic view of the Coachella Valley floor, populated by rolling sand dunes, blooming purple sand verbena (Abronia villosa), and sagebrush, set against a backdrop of atmospheric purple mountains under a dynamic sky. Housed in a period gilt frame dated 1926.
