Mid-20th century Mersman Regency-style mahogany side table featuring an oval top and distinctive lyre-form base with a single drawer. Crafted in solid mahogany, this occasional table is stamped with the maker’s mark on the underside of the drawer. Lyre-base tables are a traditional furniture form inspired by classical Greco-Roman motifs, commonly used as accent or lamp tables in living and sitting rooms.

- areas with water stains and loss of finish on the top surface; support attaching the top to the base has been repaired; numerous scratches and nicks
