A heavy-gauge English sterling silver footed salver of circular form, crafted in London. The tray features an applied cast rim decorated with scrolling foliate and shell motifs in the Rococo Revival style. The central field is elaborately flat-chased with a band of floral and scroll decoration surrounding a central vacant cartouche. The tray rests on raised scroll or bracket feet. Hallmarks indicate a London origin. Weight: approx. 39.75 ozt.
