Antique late 19th century dome top trunk constructed of wood with metal banding and hardware. This Victorian travel trunk offers classic rounded-top storage suitable for use as decorative furniture, blanket storage, or a vintage-style coffee table. Dome top trunks were commonly used in the 1800s for long journeys, as the curved lid helped shed water and discouraged other luggage from being stacked on top.
