One of two commissioned of Mike Makras in the 1970s in celebration of the ‘Ladies of Mount Adams,’ the Blind Lemon bar and Mahogany Hall coffee shop. When Mahogany Hall was closed this sculpture was gifted to a patron. The other still hangs in the Blind Lemon.
Mike Makras (1940-2013), a Cincinnati – Northern Kentucky based sculptor is most well known for his exceedingly rare limited production chess set based on the 1977 Hobbit animation release.
