'87 US Olympic Festival Torch Run Torch, Plaque and Lapel Pins

In 1987 this torch was carried in the US ‘Torch Run’ Olympic festival in North Carolina as a sort of warmup for the Olympic games.

Condition

Torch shows minor scratches, minor wrinkling and wear to leather cover of handle; nicks and scratches to the metal exterior; inside top area of torch shows small spots of rust on center rod leading to fuel pipe inside handle; not tested for functionality.
Wooden framed plaque displays a metal medallion and appreciation plaque on a black velvet background, light dust and accretion to the velvet.
Metal and enamel lapel pins for every Olympic event are individually packaged in their own plastic bags; they appear to have never been worn. There are over 125 of them.
