Original Picasso Don Quixote Stone Lithograph

An original stone lithograph featuring the work of one of the 20th century’s greatest iconoclasts, referred to frequently as The Dean of Modernism, Pablo Picasso (25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973). This print was in fact printed from the original litho stone on which Picasso drew, however most probably posthumously to the artist’s death. The image is plate signed by the artist 11/3/55. The image is famous, perhaps one of Picasso’s most iconic. The image depicts one of literature’s most important characters, Don Quixote, and his squire Sancho Panza. The image has been printed on Arches and comes unframed in a card stock folio. - thoroughly wrinkled throughout, water damage along bottom edge and in several other places.
