Additional Information A diminutive early 19th century KY made slant-top sugar desk constructed primarily of cherry with original patina. The hinged fall front features breadboard ends and a brass key escutcheon, opening to five drawers over two large cavities. The case sits on four reeded legs terminating in bun feet. Provenance: The sugar chest is from a KY estate and has remained in the same family for several generations.
