Antique Rope Bed

Item Details

An antique rope three-quarter bed made of solid maple circa 1850. The bed was converted to have side rails. The original rails will come with sale as well as the box spring and mattress. A handsome period piece with a scalloped headboard and four tooled cannonball bedposts. The bottom rung of the footboard and headboard show the original pegs for the ropes.

• This is a heavy item on the second floor of a two story home. Please bring assistance to help remove and load this item into your vehicle.

• Alternate pickup/transfer is not available for mattresses and/or box springs; local pickup only. Transfer of beds acceptable (headboards, footboards, rails, slats, etc.).
