Whiting Sterling Flatware in "Lily" Pattern

A simply gorgeous sterling flatware set in the ‘Lily’ pattern by Whiting. This 1902 pattern features a highly embossed floral pattern of lilies. This set includes nine dinner knives. Five of the knives have the wider and older style silver plate blades. Four of the knives have tapered stainless steel blades. There are ten dinner forks (three have monograms to the front of the handle and one has ‘1905’ to the back), fourteen teaspoons (all with various monograms to the front of the handles), seven salad forks, eight cream soup spoons, eight individual butter knives, one pair of small tongs, two large serving spoons, a serving ladle with scalloped bowl, a smaller sized spoon and a bread knife with sterling handle and stainless steel blade. Weights: Ladle (3.42 ozt.), smaller teaspoon (.65 ozt.), ten dinner forks (14.97 ozt.), tongs (8 ozt.), two serving spoons (4.67 ozt.), fourteen teaspoons (13.43 ozt.), bouillon spoons (5.99 ozt.), seven salad forks (8.67 ozt.), and eight individual butter (6.47 ozt.).
Condition
This beautiful set comes in a nice leather case with pacific cloth lining. There are two side zippers for easy access to the flatware. The case shows some sign of wear.
