’Nasser Mejía Moreno is a prominent Nicaraguan artist born in Managua in 1982. His passion for drawing manifested itself from an early age, establishing itself in Granada Nicaragua, where he has lived since he was 6 years old. His work, marked by vibrant expressionism and a deep connection to Nicaraguan culture, explores everyday themes such as markets, flowers and the iconic Puertas Granadinas series as well as his murals in different parts of the country.

Since its beginnings in 2008 under the tutelage of Amy Bushnell, he has participated in numerous
group exhibitions and has given drawing workshops. His commitment to the artistic community
is reflected in his work as a teacher at the Granada International School and San Juan del Sur
day school, in his initiative to create spaces for new talents.

Nasser’s work is characterized by a rich color palette, constant experimentation with textures and a deep connection with his environment. Her artistic influences include key figures such as Amy Bushnell, Pablo Beteta and Ricardo Maya.
