Item Details

A Pilliod Swanton, Ohio pine jewelry box, circa 1940s-1950s. The pine box with brass straps and handles are reminiscent of the hope chests of this time. The interior lid has a fitted mirror with frosted glass lines and the box is lined with a sunburst grey fabric. The side has small slots for thin perfume bottles.

Condition

- consistent with age. The brass has tarnish, the box has scuff marks, the mirror has a few scuffs and the interior is a little dirty.
